PROGRAMS

ELL PROGRAM

The English Language Learners (ELL) program is designed to assist non-English and limited-English speakers to acquire basic English language & "real life" skills so they can adjust and function successfully in regular classes. The main objective is to increase basic skills: listening, speaking, reading, & writing. Classroom activities focus on helping students feel good about themselves and others, to learn about their community, the United States and other world cultures.

SPECIAL EDUCATION

The Special Education program is designed to provide a free and appropriate educational program that will enable students with special needs to achieve their fullest potential. All students in the program must be certified by the Department of Education. An Individualized Education Program (IEP) is created specifically for each student; along with courses that are designed to meet the needs of the special education certified students.
